Oliver wrote poems when in his teens then later songs. His professional life was full of speeches about advertising and ethics and its only been in the last few years he's turned his hand to writing stories. Encouraged by his kids for whom he used to make up stories, Oliver always wanted to write them a story for Christmas . he always started but never finished. In 2022 he had an exhibition of paintings featuring works inspired by nature and decided to do some additional art around the Rowan tree that led to a further exhibition and the creation of a character called Rowena.
